Name:
Location: Pineville, KY

I'm originally from CA, consider my hometown to be Shelbyville, KY but am currently residing in Pineville, KY. I love hanging out with my kiddos and Dan, the city, the ocean, taking hiking trips in the mountains, being around my closest friends, and watching a good chick flick! More than anything though, I love praising and worshiping our Savior Jesus Christ. It is a mystery to me, why He chooses and wants to use me?!?! He is so amazing!

Baseball

Spring is in full season, which only means one thing... T-Ball season has begun! Zachary played for two years in Shelbyville, but has missed the passed two summers playing in Pineville. He is playing "machine pitch" this year for the first time! This is also Nicholas' first year playing T-Ball. Both are very "interesting" to watch.

Nicholas has been wanting to play ever since brother has played in Shelbyville. However, Nicholas isn't as fond of it as we would have hoped for. He is having a very hard time understanding that he can't just bat the whole time. He also doesn't understand that the ball doesn't come to you every time while playing in the field. Pretty much, he could care less about the sport right now. We thought he would love it. But, not so much. When the ball doesn't come to him in the field, he drops his shoulders, drops his chin and stomps off of the field! Getting him to stay on the field is a challenge in itself.

Zachary is loving the sport! However, we are not happy with his coach. AT ALL! The coach is way too competitive at this point. The kid is only 6 for crying out loud! Let him have fun. The coach only works with the experienced kids, leaving the new ones out in the cold. How will they ever learn if they are not worked with?!?! We are very frustrated by all this. Zachary sat in the dugout for the majority of his first game. :/ We didn't pay for him to not play. Plus, again, how will he learn if the coach isn't even willing to work with him. We'll end up having a talk with his coach most likely.

Anyways. I'm done venting! Tonight was both of their first games... at the exact same time, which made for an eventful night for mom and dad! One would constantly be working with Nicholas to keep him on the field and away from the bat! While the other would constantly be watching for Zachary to be out of the dugout. Zachary did finally play one inning as catcher!

We are exhausted from running back and forth between fields. My feet are swollen. My hips are killing me. And we are both just flat out pooped! The kids are cleaned up and in bed, Dan's watching the History Channel, and I'm downloading these fun pics for you to view!

Enjoy the pics!

My sweet husband is bringing me a bowl of icecream... time to stop blogging!!! :)
